Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute qualitative research studies, including usability testing, concept validation, diary studies, interviews, and ethnographic research.
- Identify key research opportunities and develop comprehensive research roadmaps in collaboration with fellow researchers.
- Analyze user behavior data from various sources, including surveys, user studies, and product usage logs.
- Translate complex research findings into clear, concise, and compelling presentations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize research efforts and integrate user-centered insights into product development.
- Stay informed about the evolving mobile landscape and user behavior trends.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- M.A./M.S./Ph.D. in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a UX Researcher with a proven track record of influencing product development through research.
- Expertise in various qualitative research methods, including usability testing, diary studies, in-depth interviews, ethnographic research, and surveys.
- Foundational quantitative skills, including survey design and basic statistical analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience conducting international user research, particularly in emerging markets.
- Familiarity with the mobile app industry and business models.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $121.09 to $134.55 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
