Our large Healthcare client is looking for a Junior Copywriter to join their creative team, supporting the creation and editing of clear, effective content for various marketing and benefit communications. This entry-level role focuses on writing and editing materials that are frequently updated, ensuring content is easy to understand and aligned with plain language standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing and editing copy for a variety of materials, including monthly communications, promotional content, and annual Adapt and update content as needed, managing version control to ensure the latest information is communicated accurately.
- Pull from existing resources and research to support content development.
- Write with a focus on plain language, ensuring materials meet appropriate grade-level readability standards.
- Work closely with the team to produce benefit information and marketing collateral that is both engaging and informative.
- Support quality control and consistency across all copy deliverables.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in copywriting, editing, or related field.
- Basic understanding of technical or health insurance content is a plus but not required.
- Strong writing skills with emphasis on clarity, simplicity, and plain language principles.
- Ability to manage changing content and maintain version control.
- Comfortable working on high-priority, time-sensitive projects.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35 to $40 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
