Computer Assembly & Fulfillment Specialist

Overview

PC hardware shipping, inventory tracking, user request tracking and ticket closure, user interfacing and equipment hardware ordering. This group runs the PC garage, handles all of the hardware that goes out to sites, all over the US Canada and Mexico, thousands of laptops/desktops that they have to assemble package and ship or hand out to those that are local in Michigan.
Looking for someone who is interested in moving around doing different things, lot of different aspects, someone who can build PC’s/software process is scripted and straight forward, need help packaging and shipping, receiving and unpacking, might be working a window or the build room.

• Chance for flex hours or remote
• Primary function shipping – work on packaging, shipping, building PC’s addressing breakfix
  activity for PC’s, customer interaction for PC distribution working the window
  Shipping – 70%
  Building PC’s/breakfix – 30%
• Customer facing, lots of interaction with others, large area, seeing a lot of people all day long

Candidate Requirements

• High School Diploma
• At least 2 years of PC experience
• Communication skills
• Working with customers is a plus
• PC skills are huge
• Soft skills – motivated, take initiative, good people skills, team player

Must Haves

• 2 years of PC experience
• Experience with warehouse management, building PC’s, software installation
• Basic word, excel experience

This is an onsite position in Warren, MI. All candidates must be local and elgible to work in the US without a sponsorship.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $23-24/hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
