Aquent Studios is looking for experienced part-time Presentation Designers to join our team dedicated to providing outstanding support experiences for our clients. In this role, you’ll be part of a team of design and communication professionals, crafting impactful visual content that aligns with strategic messaging and corporate brand guidelines. You’ll create visually stunning materials across a wide range of visual communication deliverables and mediums.

Role & Responsibilities

This position blends design management and creative implementation with a passion for technology. You’ll be responsible for developing best-in-class visual storytelling solutions for presentations, ensuring projects are successfully completed. As a trusted thought leader in presentation design and communications, you’ll navigate a full spectrum of storytelling processes and requirements to create stunning and impactful moments for Aquent Studios’ clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Presentation Design: Act as the primary presentation designer and point of contact for a team aligned to a specific narrative, focusing on thought leadership that translates into visual narrative solutions, storyboarding, and engaging necessary resources to complete projects with consistent quality and impact.
  • Drive Design Solutions: Communicate and drive design solutions for executive communication assets that not only adhere to brand compliance guidelines but also align with the intent and messaging framework set forth by corporate brand teams, experience design teams, or creative production vendors with stakeholder responsibilities for event brand and messaging.
  • Demonstrate Design Expertise: Showcase strong fundamental knowledge in visual design disciplines (typography, iconography, composition and layout, color, photography selection, etc.) and the ability to create various visual mood boards, storyboards, creative briefs, and motion/visual guidelines.
  • Manage Priorities & Workloads: Effectively manage priorities and workloads, working within client parameters and deadlines.
  • Build Visual Narratives: Create visual narratives and concepts that tell a story while adhering to visual communication strategy goals to ensure presentation success, collaborating closely with other art directors, designers, producers, content teams, and management.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years of presentation design experience and a track record of leading successful design teams to complete event-related content. Portfolios must reflect real-world experience.
  • Proficiency: A demonstrable understanding of Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides design (animation skills are a plus!) with the ability to provide a portfolio of relevant work 
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Frequent contact with all levels across the company, including business groups, management teams, marketing groups, and others as needed.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration and cross-team partnership skills.
  • Self-Motivated: A self-motivated and directed individual, requiring minimal supervision for successful completion of duties.
  • Software Knowledge: Must be experienced in Google Slides OR Microsoft PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with creative team members, media leads, and senior leadership.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, identify and solve for blockers, and know when to escalate to keep projects and process development moving forward.
  • Creative Team Understanding: A strong understanding of creative teams and processes will be crucial, and experience in a range of mediums will be key.
  • Negotiation Skills: Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills while working with all levels within the company; must be nimble enough to negotiate with multiple stakeholders, defend work, and know when to accept direction.

Other Requirements

Compensation Range: $55 – $60 hrly (DOE)

The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
