This innovative team within a Fortune 500 healthcare company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Creative Director specializing in healthcare writing. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s voice and elevating the impact of marketing and B2B content across various channels. Collaborating closely with marketing strategists, designers, and business partners, you will ensure creative excellence and brand consistency across a diverse portfolio of projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team and influence the future of healthcare communications.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the creative development and execution of healthcare marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.
- Craft compelling and informative content for various channels, including print, digital, web, and video assets.
- Translate complex healthcare concepts into clear, concise, and engaging language that resonates with target audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and maintain high-quality standards.
- Uphold brand integrity and consistency across all marketing materials.
- Mentor and guide other creative writers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously elevate the creative output.
Must-Haves:
- 7+ years of creative writing experience in a healthcare-focused environment, specifically within health benefits marketing.
- Proven experience in B2B writing.
- Strong understanding of the health insurance industry, health benefits products, and target audiences.
- Ability to translate complex topics into clear and concise language.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Proficiency in AP or Chicago Manual of Style.
- Experience writing for various channels, including print, digital, web, and video.
- Strong knowledge of brand guidelines and compliance requirements.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working for a large, complex organization or creative marketing agency.
- Familiarity with MRM tools (e.g., Workfront).
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $63 to $68 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
