What You’ll Do:

  • Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software, including mainframe, client/server applications, and major system enhancements.
  • Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions tailored to client needs and data.
  • Implement and customize system software to meet client requirements.
  • Develop detailed software specifications and test plans.
  • Code new programs according to client specifications and create test data.
  • Modify existing programs to meet new standards and conduct thorough unit testing.
  • Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews.
  • Perform post-implementation validation and resolve any identified bugs.
  • Assemble large, complex datasets that fulfill functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, focusing on automation, optimization, and scalability.
  • Lead and deliver innovative data-driven solutions using various languages, tools, and technologies.
  • Foster a culture of transforming challenging ideas into practical solutions.
  • Design and develop new source system integrations from various formats, including files, database extracts, and APIs.
  • Design and develop highly scalable data pipelines incorporating complex transformations and efficient code.
  • Design and develop data delivery solutions that meet service level agreements (SLAs).

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in software design and development.
  • Strong foundation in computer science, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Experience in large systems software design and development.
  • Proficiency in in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy systems.
  • Expertise in multiple tools and technologies, including Azure, Databricks, Scala, Spark, Python, SQL, .NET, REST API, Angular, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SSIS, and complex ETL with massive data.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • Experience working with operations teams on production issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, design thinking, and continuous deployment.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60-64  an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
