As a key contributor on this team, you will be instrumental in driving the transition to Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), spearheading the development of cutting-edge APIs and messaging services, and empowering global teams through innovative training programs. This exciting opportunity will allow you to:

• Develop and implement new APIs and messaging services to support the IaaS transition.
• Define and implement best-in-class branch development techniques.
• Leverage AIOps and AI agents to optimize network performance and efficiency.
• Create comprehensive documentation and training materials to empower global engineering teams.
• Inspire and mentor colleagues, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in Python scripting, including a strong understanding of syntax, data structures, and libraries for network automation (e.g., NAPALM).
• Deep understanding of network fundamentals, including routing, switching, TCP/IP, and security protocols.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco devices, including configurations, APIs, and troubleshooting methods.
• Proven ability to write scripts for automating tasks like configuration management, device provisioning, and network analysis.
• Experience working with APIs (e.g., NETCONF, RESTCONF, XML, JSON) and data models (YANG, MIT).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $50 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
