In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with a passionate team of designers, researchers, prototypers, and writers dedicated to creating holistic AI experiences. You will optimize research processes, manage vendor relationships, and navigate intricate procedures, ultimately accelerating the team’s velocity and impact. Your ability to proactively identify needs and implement solutions will be essential to the team’s success.
Responsibilities:

  • Partner with research team members, leadership, and stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve research efficiency and impact using programming and AI automation.
  • Design and implement programs that streamline processes and enhance researcher satisfaction and effectiveness.
  • Define, measure, and manage strategic initiatives to improve team efficiency and impact, establishing operational systems and outcomes.
  • Contribute to the overall research operations infrastructure, updating processes, tools, and initiating improvements.
  • Proactively manage expectations, define clear roadmaps, provide frequent updates, communicate risks and adjustments, and ensure commitments are met.
  • Support knowledge management by centralizing, documenting, and maintaining internal processes and resources, tracking research deliverables and capacity.
  • Manage tooling and supplier contracts, administration, pricing, and forecasting to ensure access to the best platforms and tools for user research.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Computer Science, Technical Communications, Information Science, Information Architecture, User Experience Design, Behavioral Science, Social Sciences, or related field AND 5+ years ResOps experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant domain experience within the technology sector.
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating effectively across disciplines such as PM, Data Science, Engineering, and Product Design.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and navigating complex processes within large organizations.
  • 3+ years of experience with research tools like Qualtrics, Dscout, and UserTesting.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify needs and implement solutions.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of UX research methods.
  • Superb communication and presentation skills, along with strong project and process management skills.
  • Experience leading horizontal initiatives and scaling ResOps impact across multiple teams.
  • Understanding of trends in generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).
  • Passion for learning new technologies and understanding user needs across varying technical abilities.
  • Experience with business applications and enterprise product research.
  • Experience scaling research through enablement.
  • Experience leveraging data to inform decisions and drive change.
  • Track record of operating independently, taking initiative, embracing ambiguity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in an organized manner.
