Hours: 8:00-4:30 Monday-Friday

Aquent is partnering with our Healthcare Provider in the Palo Alto area to find a Healthcare Project Manager for a temporary assignment. This role will focus on managing projects related to the activation of new services or sites and driving process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare project management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
  • Coordinate the activation of new ambulatory services or sites, including planning, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within ambulatory care operations and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and patient care.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure successful project outcomes and seamless integration of new services.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies throughout project execution.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management within a healthcare setting, particularly in ambulatory care.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare operations, service activation, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
  • Required: Epic, Smartsheet, MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio)
  • Optional: SQL, Tableau, PowerBI
  • Project Management/Lean/Process Improvement/Six Sigma experience
  • Detail-Oriented

  • Creative Thinking/Problem Solver
  • Bachelor’s degree in a clinical or life science-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university

 

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 to $96 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
