This role is hybrid in Monroe, MI.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of quarterly retail media strategies across traditional and digital channels within existing DMAs.
- Liaise with agency partners, review plan recommendations, provide agency direction, and manage budget adjustments. Support the media onboarding of new store/market acquisitions.
- Manage media selection, agency communication, budget oversight, recommendation review with the Retail Media Strategy Manager, and presentation summaries for multiple single-store events quarterly.
- Assist in managing retail digital campaigns (SEM, display, paid social, streaming), monitor KPIs through agency reports, and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization and testing. Manage site tags with internal and external teams as needed.
- Monitor traditional media reporting for activation deviations, manage makegoods and underperformance with agency partners.
- Assist in retail media budget management, ensuring accurate execution and entry in budgeting software.
Scope & Impact:
In partnership with the manager, this role is responsible for the planning and management of local traditional and digital media across US DMAs, overseeing budgets of $40+ million. This position requires frequent collaboration with Retail Marketing and the broader Marketing team and significantly contributes to store traffic and sales for the company-owned retail system through daily media management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications with 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in local media planning and execution across traditional and digital channels.
- Strong working knowledge of retail programs and promotions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with creative services and production.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize multiple projects.
- Up to 5% travel may be required.
