Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless mechanical integration of components within our automated systems. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical engineering, tolerance analysis, and V&V testing to ensure all components function together flawlessly within the main system and the final vehicle.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the automotive or automation industry.
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerance analysis, and assembly processes.
Experience with V&V testing methodologies and failure analysis techniques.
Working knowledge of GD&T and MtD concepts.
Proficient in using engineering software (e.g., CAD, tolerance analysis tools).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Mechanical integration related experience in the automotive industry.
Experience working with Catia and CAE tools.
Material mechanical properties / selection.

This is a hybrid position in Warren, MI. All candidates must be local and elgible to work in the US without a sponsorship.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45-60/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
