Job Title: Content Writer / Deep Research – Technical Writer
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid: Tues–Thurs onsite)
Type: Contract or Full-Time
About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Content Writer with deep research capabilities to support LLM research and evaluation. This role blends content expertise, technical aptitude, and AI evaluation skills to assess and improve AI-generated research outputs in fields like finance, math, and science.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct deep research and evaluate AI outputs for credibility, factual accuracy, and coherence.

Assess research methodology, source quality, and information synthesis.

Create and review content to benchmark and refine LLM performance.

Analyze LLM behavior: detect bias, logical errors, and hallucinations.

Engineer prompts to test AI capabilities and support model fine-tuning.

Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and product teams to deliver actionable insights.
Qualifications:

Native English speaker with advanced degrees (Ph.D./Master’s) in Political Science, Linguistics, English, Creative Writing, or related fields.

Expertise or strong familiarity with content in finance, math, or science.

Exceptional writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.

Comfortable working with AI tools, data annotation platforms, and basic technical concepts.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Strong independent work ethic and attention to detail.

Interest in AI, machine learning, and/or finance.

Experience in user research, data synthesis, or educational content creation.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $48.69 to $54.10 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
