Our client, a major e-retailer in the grocery industry, is looking for a Digital Designer to join their team.  The Creative Team is seeking a mid-level Marketing Designer. In this position, you will support the Marketing team by developing designs that align with masterbrand guidelines and marketing campaign key art directions. Your responsibilities will include crafting pixel-perfect designs for CRM, paid marketing, retail marketing, and business development initiatives. You will be expected to interpret creative briefs to grasp project objectives and collaborate cross-functionally with the Marketing Team to receive design feedback and foster design collaboration.

Responsibilities:

● Work with stakeholders to develop creative visual solutions for a variety of marketing materials, spanning digital and print media.

● Translate marketing objectives and key messages into compelling designs that resonate with the target audience.

● Create digital ads across CRM, In-App, and Paid channels, including affiliate, app store, display, email, in-app, mobile, and social channels.

● Design presentations to ensure impact and engagement.

● Provide production design support, incorporating asset versioning, creative system development, and asset exporting.

● Craft materials to support retailer and advertising sales efforts, enhancing sales enablement.

● Implement and develop creative concepts across marketing campaigns to ensure consistent messaging.

● Analyze and interpret the creative brief for each project to align design efforts with strategic objectives.

● Adhere to established technical specifications for email templates and modules.

● Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, particularly copy, on creative and marketing to ensure alignment and synergy between text and visuals.

● Implement production optimization techniques to streamline workflows and ensure timely delivery of assets.

● Explore and utilize AI-powered tools to automate design tasks, enhance creative output, and increase efficiency in the design process.

 

ABOUT YOU:

● Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a designer within digital marketing or a related industry.

● Proven experience in designing for digital marketing and communications, with an emphasis on email campaign designs in digital retail.

● Portfolio demonstrating your experience and design capabilities.

● Demonstrated ability to read and interpret a creative brief, asking critical questions to help deliver a persuasive creative solution that aligns with the project’s objectives.

● Experience designing in Google Slides, Adobe and Figma (required)

● Your own laptop (preferred but not required)

● Creative problem solver with a penchant for thinking outside the box and adapting within technical constraints.

● Highly adept at designing for digital marketing and capable of iterating on multiple concepts.

● A clear and effective communicator, both verbally and visually, capable of providing constructive and actionable design feedback.

● Adaptable and thrives in fast-paced environments.

● Extremely collaborative and receptive to feedback with a positive and curious attitude.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45 to $48 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
