Spanish Translator and Proofreader

As a Production Professional with Aquent, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring clear and accurate communication reaches a broad audience. Your expertise in Spanish translation and proofreading will play a vital role in shaping how this leading organization connects with its customers.

As a Production Professional, you will be responsible for:

• Translating and proofreading Spanish documents, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Interpreting source materials and making independent decisions on the best course of action for translation.
• Managing relationships with internal customers and external translation vendors, maintaining professionalism even under pressure.
• Organizing and prioritizing work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing deadlines.
• Utilizing basic InDesign skills for document formatting and layout.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Top-notch Spanish grammar skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under deadline pressure
• Adaptability to changing priorities
• Passion for improving consumer experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Basic InDesign skills
• Bachelor’s degree or graduate certificate in Spanish translation or related field
• Project management experience

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Three or more years of Spanish proofreading experience
• Experience managing external vendors

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18.67 to $20.75 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
