Location: New York City (Hybrid: 2-3 days per week)
Position Overview: Our financial client is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the ongoing implementation and operation of a Customer Data Platform (CDP). This individual will play a critical role in managing large-scale transformation projects and ensuring alignment across various stakeholders, while maintaining strong leadership and communication throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong project management skills, business acumen, and a solid understanding of CDP and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Spearhead the successful implementation and operation of the CDP, ensuring that tasks remain on track and stakeholders are continuously engaged.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment and understanding of project goals.
- Meeting Management: Facilitate project meetings with a focus on results and action items, ensuring that project status is consistently updated.
- Business Documentation: Document business requirements and user stories as needed, and proactively ask questions to assess the impact on technology, business operations, and future integrations.
- Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Manage internal coordination, lead scrum ceremonies with engineering teams, and ensure smooth collaboration between business and technical stakeholders.
- Change Management: Implement effective change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and successful project outcomes.
- Senior Leadership Communication: Regularly engage with senior leadership, providing updates and managing expectations on project progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong project management skills, including:
- Project organization and execution
- Stakeholder communication (both written and verbal)
- Change management experience
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Proven track record of leading complex projects, especially those involving large-scale platform transformations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or expertise in Customer Data Platforms (CDP), data and audience management, and marketing strategy is a plus.
Location & In-Office Expectations:
- The ideal candidate should be based in New York City to attend in-office meetings at HQ 2-3 days per week.
The successful candidate will have experience managing large-scale platform transformation projects, and will be responsible for leading complex initiatives involving third-party vendors, coordinating with internal teams, managing scrum ceremonies, and engaging with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $90.00 – $100.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
