Our global tech client is looking to bring on a Video Assistant Editor. 

**PLEASE NOTE: This role is hybrid, 3 days onsite in Culver City**

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with editing A/V assets in collaboration with the content design video team.
  • Track and maintain an A/V asset library.
  • Download, log, organize and stringing out footage.
  • Build select reels, search for sound effects and music, export QuickTime movies and prepare video edits for presentations, generate final picture/audio prep, QC finals and project archiving.
  • Create cutdowns and additional versions from approved final edits. Enforce security protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

  • A champion of the client’s brand standards
  • Reenforce creative best practices across all aspects of work
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaborate with a hybrid creative team
  • Knowledge of all digital formats relating to picture and audio production
  • Firm understanding of video compression codecs for broadcast and streaming
  • Knowledge of all elements required for TV Finishing
  • Knowledge of broadcast deliverables and delivery methods
  • Manage a high volume of details with excellent accuracy
  • Organized with a great eye for detail

Software Requirements:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro – Expert Level
  • Adobe Media Encoder
  • Working knowledge of Keynote, FCPX, compressor, Davinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects is a plus

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $42.39 to $47.10 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
