A leading energy provider in British Columbia, serving over 1.2 million customers with renewable energy solutions and utilities. We’re seeking a talented Project Coordinator to join our Communications Team and help drive our mission of transforming the province’s energy landscape.

Position Overview

As a Marketing Communications Project Coordinator, you will be the central point of coordination for external marketing, communications, and creative services projects. This role requires exceptional project management skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders across creative, marketing, and communications teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Management

  • Lead complex, multi-channel marketing and communications projects from conception to completion
  • Develop and facilitate comprehensive project plans and schedules
  • Coordinate resources across creative teams, including writers, designers, events team, corporate communications, web, and digital tactics
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Brief project teams on goals and objectives
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify/address risks and constraints

Media & Creative Coordination

  • Collaborate with media placement and advertising agencies
  • Oversee media plans, schedules, and budget allocations
  • Coordinate creative asset delivery and advertisement scheduling
  • Review and route creative drafts and proofs
  • Maintain production docket system and materials library

Production Management

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers and production vendors
  • Analyze quotations and provide cost estimates
  • Generate purchase requisitions and reconcile invoices
  • Coordinate quality control processes including proofreading and pre-press artwork inspection
  • Ensure timely delivery of finished materials to all stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of direct project management experience in marketing communications
  • Agency experience managing large corporate multi-program launches and initiatives
  • Exceptional English communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong knowledge of print production, pre-press, and printing technology
  • Comprehensive understanding of multi-channel communications (print, radio, TV, digital, social media)
  • Demonstrated experience with project management tools and methodologies
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office
  • Strong budget management and vendor relationship skills
