Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the conversion and implementation of a new Association Management System (AMS), including overseeing data migration, new system setup, and SaaS implementation. This role is pivotal as our client transitions from one technology platform to another, impacting the current website, event management platform, content management system, and CRM. The project will transform how they operate internally and enhance the experience for their partners and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Program/Project Management: Lead and manage programs or projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring completion within schedule and budget constraints.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate project activities involving multiple departments and teams to ensure seamless execution. Facilitate interdepartmental meetings and maintain open communication to meet deadlines.
- Planning & Execution: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and budgeting for SaaS implementations, data migrations, and new system setups, making sure all project milestones are met.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Interface with internal customers and department personnel to ensure requirements and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Development: Select, develop, and evaluate project team members to ensure an efficient and collaborative environment.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, provide solutions, and keep the project moving forward despite obstacles or delays.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager managing complex system conversions, SaaS implementations, and data migration projects.
- Technical Understanding: While a deep technical background is not necessary, experience with AMS platforms, SaaS solutions, and data migration processes is a plus.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with a “can-do” attitude. Must be a hands-on project manager, not just a planner or delegator.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Able to tackle unexpected issues, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and levels of stakeholders.
- Experience with Platforms: Experience with Association Management Systems, CRM systems, website platforms, event management systems, or content management systems is highly desirable.
- Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management software such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar tools is a plus.
Key Competencies:
- Strong Organizational Skills – Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Customer-Centric – Focused on delivering a seamless experience for both internal teams and external clients.
- Adaptability – Comfortable with ambiguity and quick to adjust to changes in a fast-paced environment.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54 to $59 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
