Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager with a strong background in consumer electronics, particularly focused on sustainability and the circular economy. This role involves working closely with clients to identify their sustainability needs and providing tailored solutions that support the circular economy within the consumer electronics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client and Market Research: Identify potential clients and emerging markets within the circular economy, focusing on consumer electronics sustainability.

  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and cultivate strong relationships with current and prospective clients in the consumer electronics space. Understand and address their sustainability objectives and challenges with tailored solutions.

  • Strategic Business Development: Create and execute effective strategies to drive growth. Collaborate with the management team to establish sales targets, marketing initiatives, and pricing strategies that align with sustainability goals in consumer electronics.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, consultants, and technical experts to ensure seamless project delivery, exceeding client expectations and supporting sustainable practices.

  • Industry Knowledge and Engagement: Stay informed of trends and advancements in the consumer electronics circular economy. Attend relevant conferences, seminars, and networking events to deepen industry knowledge and identify new business opportunities.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor sales data, analyze market trends and competitor activities, and prepare reports for management. Highlight key performance indicators and recommend strategies for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Proven experience in business development or account management, specifically within consumer electronics and sustainability.

  • Deep understanding of sustainability principles, circular economy practices, and trends within the consumer electronics industry.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders.

  • Ability to think strategically and pursue new opportunities aligned with sustainability goals.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of achieving sales targets.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
