Candidates must be able to work onsite in San Antonio, TX. All candidates must currently be eligible to work in the United States without a sponsorship. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Planning for NAMC internal logistics layout and equipment needs, go and see to gather current data (benchmarking)
  • Make logistics process layout and conveyance route for material delivery throughout the shop
  • Evaluate multiple options of equipment plans for logistics KPI while working with a team
  • Establish new processes or improvements as needed after experience with existing procedures.
  • Able to support & meet deadlines for multiple simultaneous projects
  • Provide feedback to facilitate group development
  • Identifying critical judgement criteria and providing studies to support decision making with strong consideration of critical path of decision making for project success.

Requirements:

  • Technical Degree in Engineering, Business, supply chain, transportation, logistics management
  • Or Work Equivalent in Applicable Field (Logistics, Packaging, Supply Chain, etc)
  • 5 Years of Work Experience

What you may bring:

  • New Model Body Shop Production Preparation Experience
  • Manufacturing Shop Project / Mass Production Experience
  • Experience planning internal logistics / conveyance processes [from dock door unload to lineside delivery] or course experience in manufacturing process planning
  • Vehicle Structure & Processing Knowledge
  • Advanced Engineering / Logistics Degree
  • Project Management experience would be great
  • Ability to identify and solve complex problems and investigate related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Logistics / Conveyance/PC experience in manufacturing environment or course work

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $32.34 to $35.94 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
