Our client is working on updating a design language to better meet the needs of users and align with modern expectations. They are seeking a Quantitative User Experience Researcher (Quant UXR) to contribute valuable insights through a combination of foundational and tactical quantitative research. The Quantitative User Experience Researcher will play a crucial role in guiding a team of UX designers, product managers, and engineers by providing an understanding of user needs. The role involves investigating user behavior and needs using empirical research methods, including survey research and regression analyses, to create products that are not only useful and usable but also delightful.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and prioritize research questions.
  • Define research approaches to effectively address these questions.
  • Manage the entire research lifecycle, from design through analysis and presentation of findings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in an applied research setting, or similar.
  • Proficiency in programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go).
  • Expertise in survey research design and analysis.
  • Experience in independently owning and delivering quantitative research projects.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong expertise in multivariate statistics and experimental design.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $73.60 to $81.78 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
