Our Field Engagement Digital Innovation team is dedicated to delivering innovative experiences to our users and customers.  We translate their needs into solutions that are personalized and effective while staying meaningful and compliant.

This Digital Channel Project Manager will collaborate with the channel SMEs and Digital Publishing Teams to provide expertise on both Veeva CLM and Veeva Approved email channels across US business units.  Reporting to the Field Digital Channel Lead, this role will manage cross-functional projects to execute and realize the US Digital Strategies Roadmap through Veeva and related capabilities. The organization will be looking for this role to work autonomously with a strong attention to detail providing thoughtful, compliant work.

Success in this role will require Veeva CRM, Salesforce knowledge and project management skills.  

 

Key responsibilities of the Digital Execution Project Manager, include the following:

  • Review of new and updated Veeva field email & eresources with Digital Engagement team members, Digital Publishers, Creative Agencies, and IT, as appropriate 

  • Manage MS List to deploy and decommission Veeva field email & eresources in coordination with the Digital Engagement team members, Digital Publishers, Brand teams and IT as appropriate

  • Understand and work with setting visibility rules for sales teams within Veeva system

  • Support initiatives to implement capabilities and to operationalize them for re-use in the organization across brands or channels

  • Maintain above brand templates for Merck Moments program and facilitate approvals through Digital Standards Review Team (DSRT, formerly IMRT)

  • Manage and supply Next Best Engagement (NBE) templates as needed 

Skills required include, but are not limited to:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales operations, marketing operations, digital channel innovation

  • Experience working with and implementing technology products and solving consumer needs; including Veeva CRM, and Salesforce 

  • Strong program/project management experience, having to manage multiple projects simultaneously and foster collaboration with colleagues 

  • Ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders, and lead without authority

  • Demonstrated cross-functional skills and ability to collaborate across the organization and with external agencies / vendors to drive work toward a common goal

 

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge/ experience with the US marketplace

  • Understanding of launch products and timelines

  • Ability for strategic thinking, problem solving, and understanding of sales and marketing

  • Experience in end-to-end medical/ legal review and delivery processes

Other Requirements

Compensation Range: $80 – $90K

The range provided is our reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location.
