Partner Strategy & Program Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:
Partner/Consumer-Centered Insights and Learning

  • Evaluates potential opportunities risks involved with specific partner collaborations through opportunity sizing.

Strategic Planning

  • Executes and contributes to developing product/campaign strategies with partners and with internal/external stakeholders based on research and deep understanding of the partner’s financials and strategic priorities, as well as business, industry, and competitive landscapes. Maps partner capabilities and priorities with Microsoft goals and strategies to help ensure strategic alignment.

Seasonal/Promotional Marketing Campaign

  • Develops integrated campaigns with partners/customers based on initial research and audience segmentation to help understand how a campaign will be shaped. Uses and develops materials and collateral to promote the product and support the campaign. Maps and aligns with larger editorial/storytelling calendar to ensure consistency with other processes.

Partner/Customer/Consumer Experiences

  • Helps to develop and mutually create new partner capabilities and opportunities through partner experiences to help provide a competitive advantage and to land key product messages with customers. Measures the impact of end-to-end partner experiences through a sell-through, customer, and partner standpoint, as well as evaluating return on investment (ROI). Ensures, executes, and accelerates partner-to-partner collaboration of marketing activities to build the impact of partner experiences and sell-through.

Compliance

  • Serves as a compliance advocate to ensure privacy, brand, financial, Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA), and Human Resources (HR) compliance of products, processes, and policies are followed across teams and functions. Drives partner compliance education through partner training and education on compliance and policies, as well as standard compliance/policy training.

External Partner Management

  • Owns/drives trusted partner relationships in order to work towards mutual business objectives and alignment to partner’s priorities to establish trust and credibility. Advises and informs partners on best practices through deep industry knowledge.

Internal Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to market products and enhance offerings. Builds trust and credibility in new and existing relationships with internal teams, while applying expertise to cross-functional and partner teams. Manages escalations to and from stakeholders. Identifies and works to connect customer/partner opportunities with internal stakeholders (e.g., product management, category, business development, sales) and advocates for the customers/partners to internal teams.

Analytics and Insights

  • Pulls and collects data and metrics to complete analyses. Identifies trends in partner and competitive data to help assess the impact of a campaign/project. Helps to change and adapt partner strategies based on feedback and evaluation of data.

Thought Leadership

  • Uses deep marketing/industry expertise to provide feedback to cross-team stakeholders and partners on how products and processes may be improved to simplify product optimizations and workflow or better serve partners/customers or internal stakeholders. Shares and may scale successes, thought leadership, opportunities for improvement, best practices, and learnings internally and externally as appropriate (e.g., case studies, industry events, training contributions)

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent training required.
• 5+ years related experience required.
• US Channel Partner Marketing Experience is preferred

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45.43 to $50.48 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
