Five Aquent Leaders Recognized for National Diversity & Leadership Conference Awards

President and Executive Leadership Team honored for their commitment to advancing inclusivity, diversity, equity, and broader impact initiatives

Boston, MA – June 3, 2025 – Aquent, a global work solutions company, proudly announces that five of its employees were recognized by the National Diversity & Leadership Conference (NDLC) for their commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equity within the workplace, as well as for influential female leadership.

The NDLC recognized CEO John H. Chuang and Chief Operating Officer Simon Lusty as Inclusive Leaders for their commitment to building equitable teams and fostering cultures of belonging. In addition, Carole Smith, Marketing Director, and Den Mondejar, Director of Enterprise and Talent Solutions, were recognized with the DEI Champion Award for their contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion across Aquent’s operations. Ro Pilla, President of Aquent Talent, was named one of NDLC’s Most Powerful & Influential Women for her outstanding leadership and impact in the workplace.

“It’s an honor to be recognized, but these awards are truly a reflection of our entire team. Aquent embeds equity and inclusion into every layer of our business, and I’m proud to have a hand in leading these efforts,” said John H. Chuang, Founder and CEO of Aquent. “We’re not just aiming to meet a standard, we’re working to raise it—so that people from all walks of life feel seen, valued and empowered.”

The National Diversity & Leadership Conference Awards recognize individuals and organizations making significant strides in championing diversity and equity. Aquent’s honorees were selected for their leadership in developing inclusive hiring practices, advancing internal equity programs, supporting underrepresented talent, and engaging in community partnerships focused on systemic change.

“Diversity and inclusion are not only moral imperatives but also essential for innovation and business success,” said Simon Lusty, Chief Operating Officer of Aquent.  “We’re honored to be acknowledged for doing the work to build a more inclusive future.”

This is the second year that Aquent has been recognized by the NDLC, reflecting Aquent’s ongoing commitment to advancing equity and inclusion across the organization. Last year, Aquent was recognized as a Top 50 Company for Corporate Social Responsibility, and Carole Smith and Den Mondejar were awarded the Inclusive Leader and DEI Advocate Awards, respectively. In the past year, Aquent has also received other awards and recognitions, including Staffing Industry Analysts’ Power 150 Women in Staffing, Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity, and Forbes’ Best Recruiting and Temporary Staffing Firms and Best Professional Recruiting Firms.
