  • Partner with Design to translate creative concepts into well-fitting, production-ready garments.
  • Evaluate knit and woven garments for construction, consistency, and quality.
  • Communicate clear fit corrections and technical recommendations to vendors and factories.
  • Manage technical updates and documentation using PLM systems and related tools.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings, track follow-ups, and resolve technical challenges efficiently.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of hands-on apparel Technical Design experience preferred, with a substantial portion of your career focused on technical design.
  • Strong patternmaking, garment construction, and pattern correction expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience independently conducting fittings and documenting detailed fit comments.
  • Technical Design experience working with both knit and woven garments.
  • Experience creating and updating tech packs, fit specifications, and measurement documentation.
  • Ability to manage assigned styles independently while collaborating with a Technical Design Manager.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
  • A supportive, approachable communication style and ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work onsite as required.

Nice to Have

  • Plus-size or extended-size garment fitting experience.
  • Experience with Centric PLM, FlexPLM, or comparable PLM software.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and Excel.
  • Experience working directly with apparel manufacturers and overseas vendors.

Why Apply

  • Work with a recognized global retailer known for its apparel, intimates, and sleepwear products.
  • Own your work: Take responsibility for garment fit, comfort, and quality throughout development.
  • Collaborate with experienced teams: Partner closely with Design and Technical Design professionals.
  • Apply your technical expertise: Solve meaningful fit and construction challenges across knit and woven products.
  • Stay hands-on: Focus on technical design and product execution rather than people management.
