Join a world-class team building the future of how small and mid-market businesses around the world run and grow
- As a Staff Product Designer on International, you’ll lead design for a key product area as we shift from sales-led expansion to AI-driven platform growth across Canada, the UK and Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, and Western Europe.
- You’ll set design direction for your area, working across markets and rallying product, engineering, analytics, and marketing behind a clear, customer-backed point of view.
- You think in systems and journeys, not one-off screens.
- You’ll design experiences that are global by design: built once and deployed everywhere, while staying locally relevant for customers with different currencies, regulations, languages, and expectations.
- We’re intentionally building AI into how we design, prototype, and ship, and we’re committed to equipping our teams to work at the forefront of it.
- We look for designers who are excited to bring AI into their workflow, using it to move faster, explore further, and save their energy for the decisions that only human judgment and creativity can make.
- We want designers who are curious, eager to experiment, and excited to keep evolving how they work.
Responsibilities
- Own the design strategy and vision for a product area within International, connecting near-term experimentation to durable, high-quality customer experiences across markets.
- Be accountable for experience quality and business results, including customer growth, activation, conversion, and retention.
- Drive an AI-first approach to design, reimagining end-to-end journeys with AI and human expertise at the center, including mobile-first, agentic experiences and entry points on non-Intuit surfaces.
- Design AI-powered features that are intuitive, transparent, and trustworthy for a diverse range of users.
- Design for global scale. Build universal patterns and primitives that ship internationally in lockstep with the US, and help decide what must be localized and what should stay consistent.
- Shape experiences for different growth motions: a centralized, product-led engine for small businesses, and a high-touch, sales-led motion with accountants and advisors for Mid-Market.
- Contribute to a high-velocity design and experimentation culture, from discovery through rapid prototyping and A/B testing, without sacrificing craft for speed.
- Raise the bar on visual, interaction, and systems-level craft across a distributed team spanning our International hubs.
- Influence cross-functional partners and leaders with craft-forward storytelling and research-backed points of view.
- Align teams on target customers and the experience needed to win them in each market.
- Mentor and coach designers, and help shape the team’s design standards and operating model as we scale a Hub & Spoke organization.
- Partner closely with PM, engineering, analytics, and marketing as part of a dedicated International triad.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of product design experience, with a focus on product-led growth, funnel and conversion design, or B2B/SaaS growth.
- Track record of leading design for a product area or customer segment and delivering measurable business outcomes without compromising experience quality.
- Experience designing products for multiple international markets, including localization, multi-currency and multi-language experiences, and regulatory differences such as tax, compliance, and e-invoicing.
- Strong experience with experimentation and A/B testing, and fluency in behavioral data and funnel analytics.
- Experience designing with AI/ML, such as personalization, agentic workflows, and AI-accelerated discovery and delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools into your design workflow to improve quality, speed, or exploration.
- Experience with design systems or platform-level primitives that scale across products and geographies.
- Demonstrated ability to raise craft across a team, including remote and cross-timezone teams, through mentorship and example.
- Excellent storytelling, communication, and influence skills, including the ability to align cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders across regions.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating rigorous craft, systems-level thinking, and measurable impact at scale.
