We are seeking a Project Manager, Corporate Workplace & Sustainability to partner directly with our global beauty retail client. In this role, you will help support their corporate offices, elevate the employee workplace experience, and advance key sustainability priorities. Partnering closely with client stakeholders, internal teams, technical specialists, and external vendors, you will manage a dynamic portfolio of projects—ranging from office buildouts and space enhancements to building systems, workplace technology, and environmental tracking.

Whether you have a background in workplace/facilities management, real estate, construction, or operational process improvements, this position offers an exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and directly impact how our client’s team operates every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workplace Buildouts & Space Management: Deliver end-to-end management of office buildouts, relocations, decommissioning, and space enhancements for our client—from initial scope and budgeting through completion and operational handoff.
  • Building & Security Systems: Partner with client building management, IT, and specialized service providers to lead technical projects involving HVAC, lighting, electrical infrastructure, access control, and security systems.
  • Workplace Technology & Tools: Oversee implementation and upgrades for office management systems, including space planning, desk reservations, visitor management, and service request platforms.
  • Sustainability & ESG Initiatives: Collaborate with subject-matter experts to drive sustainability projects, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, resource conservation, and environmental data tracking.
  • Workflow & Process Optimization: Map and refine workplace workflows, introduce project tracking tools, and clarify responsibilities to elevate overall project execution and service delivery for the client.
  • Vendor & Budget Management: Track project costs, review vendor bids/contracts, and manage contractors and consultants to ensure deliverables meet client standards, schedules, and budget requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communications & Change Management: Maintain transparent progress reporting, track project risks, and coordinate testing, training, and communications to ensure seamless operational transitions and minimal disruption to client staff.
  • Embody Client Values: Demonstrate core brand values of Passion for Client Service, Innovation, Expertise, Balance, Respect for All, Teamwork, and Initiative.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years of project or program management experience (preferably supporting corporate workplace, facilities, real estate, construction, sustainability, or operational improvement initiatives). We are also open to candidates with less formal PM experience who possess exceptional administrative skills and a strong eagerness to learn.
  • Project Delivery Skills: Proven ability to build project plans, track budgets, manage dependencies across concurrent projects, and drive initiatives independently.
  • Technical & Tool Proficiency: Proficiency with project management software and tracking tools; familiarity with office management platforms and reading floor plans. (Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus).
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Clear communication skills with both technical partners (contractors, IT, building engineers) and non-technical client stakeholders.
  • Adaptability & Drive: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills, with comfort navigating changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Background & Experience

  • Strong administrative and organizational background.
  • Prior exposure to real estate, corporate facilities, or construction environments is a plus, but not required.
  • Eagerness to learn, adapt, and build strong client relationships.

Why Join This Project?

  • Workplace Culture: Hybrid work arrangement in San Francisco, CA (3 days onsite per week / 2 days remote).
  • Career Growth: Broad exposure across corporate real estate, facilities, sustainability, and workplace technology.
