User Experience Designer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate User Experience Designer to lead the creation of captivating email and in-app experiences. In this senior role, you will not only produce creative solutions manually but also provide strategic direction, review AI-generated content, and ensure the highest level of output through a keen QA perspective. You will be instrumental in shaping how users interact with our products, making a significant impact on customer engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Quickly yet thoroughly create process flows, wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements via empirical online data, usability findings, market research, and proven User-Centered Design (UCD) principles.
• Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in usability testing and interpreting analytics data using Omniture SiteCatalyst.
• Present design work to the user experience team, product team, and leadership for review and feedback.
• Contribute to user interface design and development best practices and standards.
• Provide leadership in the area of ecommerce trends, web application design, and user interface innovations.
• Review AI-generated content, suggesting improvements and applying a QA perspective to produce high-level output.
• Oversee and produce creative email and in-app experiences, collaborating with digital marketing teams across various regions.

What You Bring

• AI Fluency.
• Figma Fluency.
• Digital media design expertise with a focus on email and Customer Experience (CXE).
• Marketing campaign expertise from concept through delivery and execution.
• 7+ years of industry experience providing interaction design solutions for web and/or software applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluency in best practices for web-based information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
• A strong online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and relevant, user-centered design solutions is required.

• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
• A self-starter who is customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, and an enthusiastic team player, demonstrating strong self-management, project management, and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash.
• A preference for visual designer expertise, not just UX.
• Experience supporting product launches and marketing hardware and software products, particularly those involving both physical devices and integrated in-app/software experiences.
