Overview

Our Canada based learning and development client is looking for a Training Content Writer to join for ongoing project to project work.

Job Role: Training Content Writer

• Our client is looking to build a bench of Training Content Writers, available for project to project based freelance work and who are comfortable working in Articulate Rise –

• Candidates for this role must be Canada based, (T4)
• Fully remote, team works EST hours
• Estimated start date: late August 2026
• Duration: open ended project to project work, approx 4 months to start
• Hours per week will vary depending on project work load

• Candidates for this role must be available to work from 9AM-5PM EST.  (Completing assignments after hours or over the weekend is not an option)
• Candidates for this role must provide their own laptop and their own Articulate Rise license.

Job Description:

Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and informative training materials  including manuals, eLearning modules, videos, and other instructional content.

Brand Voice: Adapt writing style to match and reflect the specific tone, style, and voice of different client brands.

Creative Thinking: Develop creative approaches to present complex information in a compelling and easily digestible manner.

Research &; Understanding: Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand training objectives and ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Audience Focused: Tailor content for different learner levels, ensuring accessibility and clarity for all audiences.

Consistency: Ensure all content adheres to established guidelines, maintaining consistency across materials and projects.

Collaboration: Work closely with design, marketing, and project management teams to align content with overall brand strategies and visual elements.

Content Updates: Revise and update existing training materials as necessary, ensuring content stays current with evolving best practices or product changes.

Feedback Integration: Incorporate client and learner feedback to improve content quality and effectiveness.

SEO & Engagement: Optimize content for digital formats, ensuring it is searchable, interactive, and engaging for the intended audience.

Instructional Design / e-Learning Development (nice to have): For those candidates who have used Articulate RISE previously, take content and build responsive, web-based online training
courses. Produce clean, device-friendly modules.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in writing training or instructional content.

Proven experience working in Articulate Rise.

Strong creative writing and storytelling abilities.

Ability to adapt to various brand voices and styles.

Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.

Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Using Articulate Storyline is an added bonus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
