Web Product Owner

Overview

Our client is looking for a hands-on Web Product Owner. This is an operational Web Product Owner role supporting the client’s .com work. They need someone who can step in quickly and keep the day-to-day work moving.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own and manage the operational website backlog.
• Manage the team’s Kanban board and ensure work continues to move through the delivery process.
• Intake and triage incoming requests from multiple systems (primarily Adobe Workfront and ServiceNow).
• Review and groom incoming work to ensure it meets the team’s “definition of ready” before entering Jira.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather missing requirements, answer questions, and keep requests progressing.
• Facilitate operational backlog management and work closely with the Agile development team.
• Participate in daily standups, backlog refinement sessions, and planning meetings as the operational lead.
• Coordinate with developers, Scrum Master, and internal stakeholders to keep tactical website enhancements on track.
• Manage ongoing website maintenance requests, content updates, compliance-driven changes, legal/compliance updates, and other operational work.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for stakeholders once onboarded, escalating strategic decisions back to the client’s leadership team as needed.
• Help identify opportunities to improve operational processes and backlog management while ramping into the role.
