About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our client’s team and become the authentic voice of their player community! If you’re a passionate community builder with a knack for fostering engaging online spaces, this pivotal role places you at the heart of connecting players with development and marketing teams. You will directly influence the success of highly anticipated titles and ensure a strong, positive connection between the studio and its dedicated player base.

What You’ll Do

• Own and operate community platforms (e.g., Discord, social channels), ensuring a vibrant and productive environment.
• Drive engagement through compelling content, discussions, and strategic campaigns that captivate and grow the community.
• Maintain healthy, active, and inclusive community environments, fostering a positive space for all players.
• Analyze engagement data and adjust strategy accordingly, using insights to continuously improve community initiatives.
• Act as a crucial bridge between players and internal development, marketing, and live operations teams, translating community sentiment into actionable insights.
• Support marketing initiatives, product launches, and live operations communications, ensuring consistent and clear messaging.
• Manage day-to-day activity and usage to keep the community engaged and productive, responding proactively to needs.
• Support peers and ensure knowledge sharing across departments, fostering a collaborative internal environment.
• Share insights and help make information accessible and reliable, empowering informed decision-making across the studio.
• Participate actively in discussions and build trust within the community, becoming a respected and reliable presence.
• Create and manage community campaigns, conversations, and analytics, driving measurable impact and growth.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience managing and growing communities across social and/or owned platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and foster engagement with community members and stakeholders.
• Experience developing and executing content and engagement strategies aligned with business goals.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret community data, trends, and sentiment to drive decisions.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence partners across development, marketing, and communications teams.
• Highly organized and deadline-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinker with a passion for community building, storytelling, and player engagement.
• Demonstrated ownership and drive for results, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience with community platforms (e.g., Discord, Reddit, social media channels) and engagement tools.
• Passion for gaming and understanding of player communities, live service dynamics, and player sentiment.

Compensation

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $44/hr – $49/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
