What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a strategic consultant and process lead for comprehensive Organization Structure Optimization initiatives, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Design and execute a data-driven approach to identify and eliminate organizational inefficiencies and role duplication across various operational areas.
  • Guide teams through structured diagnostics, supporting the development of actionable restructuring recommendations and leading the successful implementation of organizational improvements.
  • Build strategic project roadmaps and design systematic organizational assessment processes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate structured interviews and working sessions with operational teams to meticulously map current processes and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Partner closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and co-leads to develop tailored restructuring recommendations that align with strategic objectives.
  • Design, implement, and lead robust data collection processes across complex organizational structures.
  • Conduct detailed organizational diagnostics on selected business and support functions to pinpoint optimization opportunities.
  • Validate and meticulously analyze employee data and current operating models to isolate key areas for strategic optimization.
  • Review and benchmark job descriptions, highlighting opportunities to clearly differentiate work and responsibilities across various levels and tiers.
  • Collaborate deeply with embedded HR Business Partners and executive leaders to ensure seamless alignment and support throughout the restructuring process.
  • Prepare executive-level deliverables, insightful metrics reports, and impactful strategic communications materials for senior leadership.
  • Provide robust communications planning and comprehensive change management support to ensure smooth transitions and adoption.
  • Deliver essential administrative and governance support to ensure the optimization process remains accountable, transparent, and on schedule.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
  • HR Experience: Eight plus (8+) years of experience in a similar strategic HR Business Partnering role, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR best practices.
  • Leadership Experience: Five plus (5+) years of experience serving as a Director-level or higher HR Business Partner, skillfully advising executive leaders on critical people strategies.
  • Management: Direct managerial experience, with a proven ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Business Partnership: Demonstrated capability to build deep, credible, and influential partnerships with senior leadership by demonstrating a command of business fundamentals and strategic insight.
  • Analytical Rigor: Advanced analytical skills with a proven ability to collect data using various mechanisms, synthesize complex datasets, and translate findings into logical, actionable organizational recommendations.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skill set, including successfully managing complex operational initiatives from the initial planning phase through to final execution and impact measurement.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional active listening, critical thinking, compelling presentation, and interpersonal coaching skills; ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics calmly and effectively.
  • Organization: Superior problem-solving and organizational skills, with a proven knack for prioritizing competing work assignments under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

  • Direct experience with structural organizational design, including hands-on implementation.
  • Experience with leadership team dynamics, including assessment and development.
  • Expertise in executive change management coaching, guiding leaders through significant transitions.
