Overview
Placement Type:
Temporary
Salary:
$60.68-67.43 Hourly
About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Partner Marketing Manager to support the rapid growth of their advertising business. In this role, you will manage relationships with external campaign management partners (hybrid tech agencies that integrate into our client’s APIs) to ensure brand alignment and maximize marketing impact.
This role is roughly 70% hands-on execution and 30% strategy/planning, requiring an adaptable professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly manage multiple timelines.
What You’ll Do
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain productive relationships with external campaign management partners, ensuring they execute on strategic objectives and align with our client’s marketing guidelines.
- Content Review & Strategy: Guide partner content strategy by reviewing a high volume of marketing collateral—including event slides, blogs, webinars, and social posts—to ensure strict alignment with brand standards.
- Campaign & Event Execution: Oversee the successful execution of partner-led marketing campaigns. Support joint marketing efforts around major industry trade shows and seasonal spikes (e.g., regional events like China Joy).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with internal Business Development teams, Partner Managers, and regional marketing squads to coordinate co-marketing efforts and evaluate new potential partnerships.
- Metrics & Analytics: Track key business metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize partner activities, campaign performance, and long-term scalability.
- Asset & Toolkit Development: Navigate a diverse range of operational responsibilities with ease, including creating project briefs, presentations, content toolkits, and running training sessions for partners.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience managing partner marketing relationships, with a heavy emphasis on hands-on execution.
- Bilingual Fluency: Complete fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese is required. You will use both languages daily to communicate with partners, review content, and collaborate with regional team members in Beijing and Singapore.
- Adtech Industry Depth: Direct experience working within adtech, digital advertising platforms, or Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs). You must have a strong grasp of app developer advertising, attribution models, and technical product marketing narratives to successfully review heavy technical content.
- Global Activation Experience: Proven track record supporting global partner marketing strategies, specifically bridging activation plans across Western markets and the Greater China Region (GCR).
- Project & Time Management: Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple partners, prioritize overlapping deadlines, and maintain a sharp attention to detail during high-volume periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working at major digital platforms or adtech competitors (e.g., Google, Meta, Snapchat).
- A self-starter who can get up to speed quickly, work with a high degree of independence, and navigate a fast-moving corporate landscape.
- Exceptional collaborative and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and lead projects through collaboration and coordination across geographically distributed teams.
- A strong grasp of standard digital business metrics, analytical rigor, and creative problem-solving.
Logistics & Working Conditions
- Location: based in New York, NY
- Working Hours: Generally standard business hours, but flexibility is required for evening calls (typically Monday evenings) to accommodate global team syncs with APAC (Singapore/Beijing).
- Travel: Potential for occasional interstate US travel (1–2 days) to support in-person marketing and launch events. (Note: Travel is estimated at a 50/50 likelihood; accommodations can be made if travel is not possible).
- Duration: Initial 6-month contract with a strong intent to extend up to 12 months based on performance.
