Working on behalf of a major medical client of Aquent, this role involves providing excellent customer service, managing inventory data, and helping ensure vital supplies are available when needed. The position includes answering calls, assisting customers in a professional manner, entering and managing data across computer systems, and keeping departmental records organized. You will communicate important information with team members and leadership, helping resolve issues and support daily operations.
Day-to-Day Tasks
- Data Management: Handle high-volume data entry and maintain system information accuracy.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries, answering calls and assisting customers in a professional manner.
- Interaction Documentation: Log, track, and document customer requests and operational needs.
- Troubleshooting: Actively problem-solve and troubleshoot customer and supply needs to support seamless daily operations.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Customer Service Experience: Proven customer service background with a track record of assisting clients professionally.
- Healthcare Literacy: Strong knowledge and experience in understanding the specific needs, workflows, and verbiage of both clinical and non-clinical staff.
- Technical & Data Proficiency: Skill in performing proficient, rapid data entry and utilizing computer systems to enter, access, and maintain related information across a variety of software applications.
- Core Competencies: Strong communication skills, accurate typing, and a baseline proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications & Technology Preferences
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Preferred System & Software Knowledge:
- ERP & Ticketing Platforms: Experience with Workday ERP and ServiceNow is highly preferred.
- Telephony & Communication Tools: Prior experience with Cisco Finesse or similar telephony tools is a plus.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Solid knowledge of Excel and other standard Microsoft office tools.
- Domain Knowledge: Prior exposure to medical supply chains or inventory environments is beneficial.
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $20 to $28.56 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
