Are you a passionate Data Scientist eager to make a significant impact on a globally recognized entertainment franchise? In this dynamic role, you will be instrumental in shaping strategic decisions for consumer products, out-of-game experiences, and partnerships. You will dive deep into complex datasets, transforming raw information into actionable insights that directly influence how millions of fans engage with their favorite universe. Your work will directly enhance reporting, analyze new opportunities, and recommend data-driven strategies that strengthen the connection between all facets of the franchise. This is a chance to apply your expertise to projects that span across merchandise, partnerships, and marketing, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand presence.

**What You’ll Do:**

* Partner with consumer products teams and data engineering to transform data into clear reporting and actionable insights.
* Identify key learnings from your analyses and synthesize them into compelling recommendations for stakeholders.
* Collaborate with other data scientists to integrate findings into major analyses and franchise-wide reporting.
* Conduct data analysis for various stakeholder groups, including understanding the return on investment of out-of-game initiatives and optimizing for in-game metrics.
* Be self-driven, demonstrating the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete or complex data.
* Maintain interactive dashboards that empower stakeholders to understand business performance and support onboarding to self-service tools.
* Manipulate and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and techniques.

**Must-Have Qualifications:**

* 5 years of experience in data analytics.
* 5 years of experience with SQL.
* 2 years of experience with dashboarding tools, with a strong preference for a widely used business intelligence platform.
* Proficient in Python.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with autonomy in tackling data challenges.
* Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
* Ability to work in a collaborative, diverse, and fast-paced team environment.

**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**

* Familiarity with SparkSQL, Databricks, or a cloud-based data exploration service.
* Familiarity with PySpark.
* Interest in games, with bonus points for experience in the gaming industry.
