We are seeking a dedicated professional to step into a crucial front office role, ensuring every patient’s journey begins with seamless coordination and exceptional support. In this position, you will be the welcoming face and efficient backbone of clinical operations, directly contributing to patient satisfaction and the overall success of the care team.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, managing check-in and check-out processes with efficiency and a welcoming demeanor.
  • Warmly greet and welcome patients, providing clear assistance with appointments, payment inquiries, and scheduling needs.
  • Expertly manage multi-line phone systems, screening and routing calls, taking accurate messages for clinical staff and physicians, and ensuring all necessary verifications and authorizations are completed prior to patient consultations.
  • Facilitate clear and proactive communication with healthcare providers, aligning with their scheduling preferences and swiftly addressing urgent patient requirements.
  • Offer comprehensive support to both patients and providers, leveraging reference materials and tools to ensure smooth interactions.
  • Execute diverse administrative duties, including meticulous maintenance of information and paging directory databases, and efficient processing of internal forms.
  • Master the full functionality of telephone systems and electronic medical records to optimize daily operations and task completion.
  • Consistently meet and exceed established organizational and departmental service standards, upholding a commitment to excellence.
  • Respond to non-clinical patient inquiries and messages, escalating complex issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Efficiently manage and distribute incoming faxes and mail, alongside precise filing of clinic-specific documentation.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software relevant to administrative functions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, appropriate for a professional healthcare setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service, solve problems proactively, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Windows-based office software and operating systems.
  • Adept at tailoring communication to effectively reach diverse audiences and levels of understanding.
  • Proven ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35.81 to $38.96 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
