The designer will be working on designing solutions for an investment project include platforms that caters to both clients and internal advisors and is presented in a web responsive format.  The designer will work closely with a cross-functional team and various stakeholders to define the experience and requirements to meet business objectives and user needs.

Responsibilities:

  • The designer will be responsible leading initiatives with product and business partners
  • Provide their direction and expertise with their cross-functional team members
  • Understand the problem/opportunity and use ‘design thinking’ methods to formulate solutions
  • Facilitate working sessions to define the right problem to solve and possible solutions that meet our objectives
  • Inform their designs and validate their hypothesis/solutions through testing
  • Create designs in various fidelities relative to the phase of the project to communicate accordingly to the team and stakeholders
  • Figma, Mural, Confluence, and JIRA are used on a daily basis utilizing respective functions

Experience:

  • Product design mindset who is strategic as well as practical in context to product development
  • Ability to take initiatives end-to-end from brief to completion
  • Curious and explores different avenues to gain new perspectives
  • Effectively communicate with peers and stakeholders to define direction for solutions and tasks to be performed
  • Possesses defined processes that can adapt and discern the activities needed based on scope and timelines
  • Comfortable working on multiple projects, quick turn arounds, and good judgement and collaboration for must-haves and trade-offs based on the initiative
  • Pro-active and responsive to meet the needs of the team
  • Solid time management and comfortable in presenting their work to larger audiences
  • Solid foundation and understanding of user experience and design principles
  • Experienced in visual design with a natural feel for typography and aesthetics
  • Advanced experience working with Figma, design systems, and components
  • Applies mobile-first design
