Aquent is partnering with a leading technology company dedicated to ensuring the integrity and compliance of critical data. Our client’s mission is to enforce policy compliance for user activity data, especially within logs, enabling policy stakeholders—including policy owners, feature developers, and data consumers—to achieve compliance swiftly, safely, and consistently.
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Software Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will directly shape the future of data policy compliance, ensuring user activity data is handled with the utmost safety and consistency. Your expertise will empower policy stakeholders and drive the seamless flow of compliant data, making a significant impact on the company’s foundational data infrastructure and contributing to the overall success of their data management strategies.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and implement robust software solutions to enforce policy compliance for user activity data.
* Design and build scalable systems for handling and processing large volumes of data.
* Collaborate with policy owners, feature developers, and data consumers to understand requirements and deliver compliant data solutions.
* Contribute to the development of server-side applications and frameworks, ensuring high performance and reliability.
* Ensure data is managed in a safe, standard, and consistent manner across all platforms.
**Qualifications:**
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* 7-10 years of experience in software development within an industry setting.
* Strong coding proficiency in C++, Java, or Kotlin.
* Demonstrated experience dealing with large-scale data handling and processing infrastructure.
* Relevant work experience in server-side application development frameworks.
* Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Master’s degree.
