As a pivotal member of the sales support team, you will empower our sales leaders, expand our market presence, and ensure seamless execution of campaigns across a vast and influential portfolio of media properties.
Step into a crucial role where you will serve as the right hand to our Account Executives, directly impacting the success of our advertising sales initiatives. You will be instrumental in generating new business, retaining existing clients, and growing revenue across our extensive portfolio of multimedia and addressable products. This position offers a unique chance to develop as a sales leader, understanding key market drivers and ensuring accountability within our client management systems. You’ll navigate the full sales lifecycle, from pre-sale strategy and pitch development to active campaign management and post-sale analysis, ensuring white-glove service and maximizing client satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
**Pre-Sales & Strategy:**
* Coordinate with marketing and planning teams to respond to RFPs, develop compelling pitches, and address marketing briefs with strategic insights and solutions.
* Proactively identify new business opportunities by understanding the total book of business across linear and digital platforms.
* Collaborate with insights teams to gather and coordinate qualitative information for pre-sale planning and deck completion.
* Lead sales efforts for specific accounts, including plan development, pitching, and selling activities, as empowered by management.
**Active Campaign Management:**
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients and agencies, ensuring all campaign elements are delivered in full through collaboration with marketing, ad operations, and research teams.
* Facilitate the preparation of deal memos and coordinate “Playbooks” for large-scale campaigns.
* Lead weekly agency status calls or email communications regarding campaign ratings and reporting.
* Coordinate closely with ad operations to manage liability and ensure accurate campaign delivery and revenue recognition.
* Verify plan booking, confirm schedules, align on CPMs, and ensure the execution of all sponsorship elements.
**Post-Sales & Renewal Support:**
* Work alongside Account Executives to foster client satisfaction and increase the likelihood of deal renewals and continued partnerships.
* Coordinate with sales communications and marketing teams on all recap sites and decks.
* Collaborate with research teams on custom studies, performance metrics, and reporting.
* Organize and share video clips with agencies and provide topline success stories to highlight campaign achievements.
* **Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in advertising sales support or account management.
* Demonstrated experience within linear and/or digital media platforms.
* Proficiency in media math and analytical skills.
* Adept at manipulating data for comprehensive analysis and compelling presentations.
* Proven strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate data into measurable tactics, actions, and outcomes.
* A collaborative problem-solver, comfortable working cross-functionally.
* Deep understanding of client priorities and performance goals, and how to align product portfolios to meet those needs.
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities.
* Ability to multi-task, make informed decisions, and operate with entrepreneurial speed.
* **Required Education:**
* Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
