Aquent is partnering with a leading global brand to find an exceptional talent who will play a critical role in bringing their vision to life. This pivotal position offers the opportunity to directly influence the quality, fit, and integrity of highly anticipated products, ensuring they meet the highest standards and delight customers worldwide. You will be at the forefront of product development, ensuring that design intent translates flawlessly into tangible, high-quality garments.

As a key contributor, you will be responsible for meticulously guiding the technical design process from initial concept through to final production. You will be instrumental in analyzing and evaluating garments, translating design aesthetics into precise fit specifications, and upholding the brand’s commitment to excellence. Your expertise will ensure that every product aligns with established quality standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost objectives. You will develop detailed technical specifications and serve as the crucial communication link with vendors and factories, providing clear direction for approvals and necessary corrections. Your ability to make appropriate adjustments while maintaining design integrity, monitoring quality, and adhering to targeted pricing will be essential to the success of each collection.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Execute the comprehensive technical design process from development to final fit.
* Analyze and evaluate garments to establish precise fit specifications.
* Ensure product development aligns with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.
* Develop detailed technical specifications and effectively communicate fit requirements to vendors and factories for approvals and corrections.
* Implement necessary adjustments with manufacturing partners to maintain the integrity of design-approved prototypes, monitor quality, and adhere to targeted pricing.

**What You’ll Bring:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, or equivalent practical experience.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical design, specifically within the intimates or apparel industry.
* Proven experience participating in or leading fit sessions, demonstrating a strong understanding of garment construction and fit nuances.
* Exceptional ability to write clear and concise fit comments and implement effective pattern corrections.
* Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Excel and Illustrator.
* A flexible and adaptable mindset, capable of navigating dynamic environments.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
* A supportive and collaborative demeanor, fostering positive working relationships.
* The ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in fast-paced or demanding situations.
