Location: Pearl River, NY (Hybrid – 3 Days On-site / 2 Days Remote)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Potential for FTE conversion by year-end)
Compensation: $45-50/hr
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Talent Advisor to join one of the region’s largest infrastructure and utility providers. This isn’t just a recruiting role; it’s a mission-critical position supporting large-scale reorganization initiatives and high-volume hiring. What You’ll Do
- Full-Cycle Execution: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for management-level positions and field operations.
- Union Liaison: Lead and assist in conducting new union hire orientations, ensuring a seamless “Day 1” experience.
- Data Command: Maintain complex Excel trackers with numerous data points to provide weekly, high-accuracy reports to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to navigate shifting priorities while maintaining a composed and professional delivery.
- High-Volume Sourcing: Leverage major job boards and ATS tools to screen and monitor large applicant pools efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree is strictly required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in full-cycle recruiting.
- High-Volume Mastery: Proven track record of filling positions on an ongoing basis in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to manage large datasets/reporting) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the “strong personality” needed to keep teams and projects on track.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience in Utility, Engineering, or Telecommunications sectors.
- Direct experience working with Unionized workforces and labor agreements.
- A “razor-sharp” attention to detail regarding data integrity and reporting.
