A leading global lifestyle and intimates brand is seeking a talented Store Designer to join their in-house Global Store Design team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role supporting North American retail store rollouts and new design pilots. You will work within a collaborative team of four designers, partnering cross-functionally to bring compelling, on-brand retail environments to life.
What You’ll Do
•Develop floor plans, storefront elevations, 3D models, and renderings that translate global design standards into location-specific solutions.
•Direct and manage third-party consultants to ensure design deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
•Review drawing sets and shop drawings for accuracy and adherence to design standards.
•Coordinate with internal and external partners to drive cohesive project execution.
•Partner with construction, purchasing, visual merchandising, and store operations teams to deliver functional, on-brand designs.
•Identify and resolve issues that may impact project schedule, cost, or design integrity.
•Manage multiple projects simultaneously across varying phases of the project lifecycle.
•Stay current on retail design trends and adapt quickly to new prototypes or material developments.
•Attend meetings, present design concepts to cross-functional stakeholders, and contribute to pilot programs.
What You Bring
•Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
•3–5 years of design experience with a focus on retail environments; large-scale rollout experience strongly preferred.
•Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BlueBeam (required); experience with Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel is a plus.
•Strong 3D modeling, sketching, and rendering abilities with polished presentation skills.
•Exceptional attention to detail and ability to create, read, and review technical drawings.
•Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
•Comfortable independently leading projects forward while working within established brand guidelines.
•Flexible and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Work Environment
This is a hybrid contract role based at the client’s Columbus, OH campus. Company equipment is provided. The team operates at full capacity — expect a full 40-hour week of meetings, design reviews, drafting, and cross-functional collaboration. There is potential for extension and conversion based on performance and business need.
