The Role
As Director of IT & Security, you will lead the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of firms environment and security practices. You will ensure the organization’s technology ecosystem remains secure, reliable, and scalable while supporting the needs of a fast-growing business.
This role blends hands-on leadership, operational execution, and long-term strategic planning.
You will oversee the corporate IT function, partner with engineering and data leaders, and establish the policies, systems, and safeguards necessary for a modern, secure organization.
Key Responsibilities
IT & Security Strategy
- Define and own the firm’s IT and security strategy, aligned with growth, risk management, and compliance needs
- Continuously evaluate and strengthen the organization’s security posture
- Establish standards for identity and access management, endpoint security, and device management
- Develop and maintain security policies, controls, and operational documentation appropriate for a regulated environment
Infrastructure & IT Operations
- Lead and develop the IT support team, ensuring consistent and high-quality end-user support
- Design and maintain a scalable corporate IT infrastructure
- Plan and manage IT capacity and operational readiness as the organization grows
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and operational efficiency
Security & Risk Management
- Own the firm’s incident response processes and security escalation procedures
- Identify and mitigate operational and security risks as the company scales
- Ensure security practices are embedded across systems, vendors, and internal workflows
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Engineering, Data, Product, and business leadership
- Align on infrastructure strategy, access management, and security standards
- Provide guidance on security implications of technology and operational decisions
Vendor & Tooling Management
- Manage technology vendors and strategic technology partnerships
- Participate in technology selection and tooling decisions across the organization
- Ensure tooling decisions balance security, usability, cost, and operational efficiency

Qualifications
Required
- 8+ years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or security leadership
- Experience building or leading IT and security functions within growing organizations
- Strong expertise in:
