Product Marketing Specialist

  • This is a fully remote role, working EST hours, must sit in the US.
  • This role will require starting early at 7AM EST approx 1 day per week and working with international stakeholders.

Position Overview, Responsibilities, and Qualifications:

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Marketing Specialist with 3+ years of experience to support both new product launches and the ongoing promotion of existing products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling source

messaging, translating it into technical documentation for internal distribution, and developing a suite of sales tools, including sell-in decks, competitive sell against tools, and portfolio positioning resources. This role requires a strong understanding of product marketing concepts, with a focus on customer positioning, value proposition creation, and effective messaging that meets business objectives while focusing on customer insights. Technical aptitude and the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable sales materials are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create source messaging for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with insights, customer needs and internal stakeholder requirements.
  • Translate source messaging into technical documents to be syndicated across internal systems and platforms.
  • Develop sales tools such as sell-in decks, sell-against tools, competitive
  • positioning documents, and portfolio positioning resources.
  • Collaborate with business, category, and marketing teams to refine messaging and tools, ensuring consistency across all materials and alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of product features, customer value
  • propositions, and competitive landscapes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, technical writing, or related roles.
  • Proven copywriting skills with the ability to craft clear and persuasive messaging.
  • Expertise in technical document creation for internal and external audiences.
  • Experience in developing and delivering sales tools and collateral.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex product details.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
