This role is Hybrid (4 days onsite and Fridays remote) in Celevration, FL.

**What You’ll Do**
As a Senior Engineer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing the core infrastructure that powers groundbreaking initiatives. You’ll dive deep into existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions that elevate performance and reliability. Your contributions will be critical in shaping the future of our client’s technical landscape, ensuring operational excellence and empowering innovation.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Conduct in-depth assessments of server infrastructure and virtualized environments, identifying configuration gaps, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration guides, connectivity details, and operational procedures, ensuring alignment with compliance and security standards.
* Organize and lead cross-training workshops and knowledge transfer sessions, creating materials to empower team members and foster a culture of shared expertise.
* Provide expert Tier 3 support for complex server-related incidents and escalations, resolving critical issues efficiently.
* Collaborate closely with network, engineering, and application teams to ensure seamless integration and operational harmony across all systems.
* Actively participate in crucial capacity planning and disaster recovery exercises, contributing to the resilience and future readiness of the infrastructure.

**What You’ll Bring**

**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware vSphere 8.x, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and VDS.
* Demonstrated experience with VRealize Automation and VRealize Operations.
* Proven ability to conduct thorough environment assessments and identify areas for performance improvement and optimization.
* Experience in developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, adhering to compliance and operational standards.
* Capability to provide expert Tier 3 technical support and troubleshoot complex server-related issues.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse technical teams.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to operational excellence.
