Aquent is thrilled to partner with a pioneering leader in the financial services industry, a company dedicated to empowering individuals and institutions to achieve their financial goals. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Web API Development Engineer to join a dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and deploying mission-critical Web APIs that power essential applications, directly impacting user experience and the company’s strategic initiatives. You will leverage your expertise to build robust, scalable, and secure API services, contributing to the evolution of modern software architecture and ensuring seamless functionality for a wide array of digital platforms.

**Your Impactful Contributions Will Include:**
* Designing, implementing, and deploying resilient RESTful API services using ASP.NET Core and C#, adhering to Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
* Applying SOLID principles, containerization fundamentals, and microservices architecture in development, utilizing modern IDEs for efficient debugging.
* Developing comprehensive unit tests for .NET applications using industry-standard testing frameworks.
* Contributing to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring efficient and automated software delivery across various platforms.
* Developing for and deploying applications to leading cloud platforms, employing advanced deployment strategies such as Blue-Green, Canary, or Big-Bang.
* Monitoring web service health, availability, reliability, and performance using robust monitoring tools.
* Practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and hands-on automation of API testing using established frameworks.

**Qualifications:**
* Proven enterprise-grade experience in designing, implementing, and deploying mission-critical Web APIs.
* Expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, and building RESTful services with SOA design patterns.
* Strong understanding and application of SOLID principles, containerization fundamentals, and microservices architecture.
* Proficiency in developing unit tests using .NET testing frameworks (e.g., MSTest, xUnit.NET).
* Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation for continuous integration and deployment.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy applications to leading cloud platforms, utilizing advanced deployment strategies.
* Familiarity with robust monitoring tools for web service health, availability, and performance.
* Working knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and hands-on experience with API automation frameworks.
