We are partnering with a leading in-house creative agency that is looking for a concept-first Associate Creative Director, Copy to help shape bold, culture-driving ideas across our portfolio of iconic brands.
This role operates at a high level of visibility across multiple beverage and food brands, partnering directly with senior brand leadership. Beyond developing breakthrough creative, this person must help position the in-house agency as a strategic, world-class creative partner – building trust, driving demand, and elevating the perception of our work.
Scripts and production are table stakes. Insight-led, provocative, platform-building ideas are the differentiator.
*This role requires you to work onsite in SoHo Mondays and Thursdays and be available to come onsite for pitch presentations. The rest of the week you can work from any coffee shop or living room that makes you feel the most creative!*
What You’ll Do
- Lead development of big, brand-defining concepts across film, social, experiential, activations, OOH, and emerging platforms.
- Craft brand voices, narratives, and messaging systems that scale across touchpoints.
- Partner closely with studio leadership to originate and evolve integrated creative platforms.
- Translate strategic insights into culturally resonant ideas that drive brand growth.
- Present and sell work directly to senior-level brand stakeholders with clarity, authority, and persuasion.
- Contribute to proactive thinking that positions the in-house agency as a go-to partner for innovation.
- Mentor junior writers and help raise the conceptual and craft standards of the team.
- Collaborate in person in NYC — riffing, workshopping, and building ideas live with cross-functional teams.

Executive-Ready Presenter – You’re comfortable presenting to senior marketing and brand leaders. You understand how to frame ideas in ways that inspire confidence and drive buy-in.
Culture-Forward Thinker – You create ideas that feel timely, earned, and native to culture – not opportunistic.
Demonstrated Authorship- Your portfolio clearly shows ideas you originated and your specific role in bringing them to life.
Strategic Partner – You understand business context, brand challenges, and how creative drives measurable impact.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in agency or brand environments (Senior Copywriter or ACD level).
- Strong portfolio of concept-led, integrated work across multiple channels.
- Experience presenting to senior clients or internal brand leadership.
- Ability to work onsite in New York City for collaborative sessions and presentations.
- The ability to speak to the work you’ve created from an idea and turned into a leading campaign!
Nice to Have
- Experience across sports marketing, activations, or experiential campaigns.
- Background working across multiple brands or categories.
- CPG experience is helpful but not required.
- Demonstrated mentorship or team leadership experience.
