**Key Responsibilities:**
* Partner with operational leadership to provide insightful financial analysis and support strategic decision-making for business units.
* Conduct comprehensive analysis and reporting of financial results, including revenues, margin analysis, operating profit, capital expenditures, and balance sheet activities.
* Determine breakeven points and analyze cost basis to optimize financial performance.
* Manage and report on working capital, supporting its efficient utilization.
* Contribute to the financial close process, including monthly flash reporting.
* Perform root cause analysis for financial variances and propose effective solutions.
* Analyze the profit and loss impact of restructures, organic expansion initiatives, and acquisitions.
* Develop robust financial models for capital expenditures, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, and organic growth projects.
* Monitor inventory health and collaborate with business teams to resolve transactional discrepancies.
* Coordinate and execute the forecasting process, including mid-year and annual financial planning.
* Provide implementation support and ensure follow-through on new financial procedures and processes.
* Establish and continually measure processes to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
* Manage and report on accounting controls for business units.
* Assist in monitoring and controlling collection efforts.
* Participate in global business unit finance projects and reporting exercises as needed.
* Act as a liaison between operations and accounting/general ledger teams, offering clarification, research, and support.
* Support inventory cycle count processes across business units.
* Review balance sheet and profit & loss accounts, providing detailed variance explanations and resolving potential errors.
* Prepare ad-hoc data analysis and reports for management.
* Some domestic and international travel may be required to support various business units.
**Qualifications**
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree, with a strong preference for Accounting or Finance.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or Accounting.
* Demonstrated intermediate Excel skills with at least 3 years of practical experience.
* At least 3 years of dedicated forecasting experience.
* Strong skills and knowledge of accounting theory and the application of financial principles.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a proactive operating style.
* Skilled in identifying trends and drawing conclusions from large amounts of data.
* Ability to work effectively in a team setting to meet deadlines and goals alongside business partners.
* Demonstrated leadership potential for upward mobility within the organization.
* A strong commitment to long-term career growth and stable professional tenure.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools.
* Familiarity with business intelligence platforms.
