Our tech client is seeking a creative, collaborative, and strategic Event Content and Communications Marketing Manager to join our centralized content team. In this role, you’ll shape the messaging and craft compelling content and communications that brings our events to life — delivering memorable, story-driven experiences that engage audiences and drive demand.
We’re looking for someone with a strong background in messaging, communications, and content strategy and development. Someone who understands diverse audience engagement strategies, and has a genuine passion for event experiences. You understand that event content isn’t one-size-fits-all — it spans a spectrum of formats: from 1:1 and 1:many interactions, to co-led partner sessions and immersive brand activations. Your goal is to create content that captures attention, boosts participation, and drives results.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of content strategy and event marketing — someone who can think big, execute thoughtfully, and deliver impactful experiences that grow brand awareness, generate pipeline, and build long-term engagement
This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week working onsite at our client’s Austin, TX office and 4 days per week working remotely.
In this role, you will:
- Develop event messaging and create creative copywriting that aligns with brand voice, company narrative, and business objectives.
- Create event collateral and promotional materials to engage audiences before and after events; including event signage, landing pages, social, and other promotional materials.
- Write and edit content used during events; including speaker briefs, talk tracks, presentation decks, and social media activations for both in-person and virtual events.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, field marketing, global events, product marketing, customer marketing, and executive leadership.
- Curate content across diverse event formats — live, virtual, and hybrid — for a range of audience segments.
- Build narratives and experiences that inform, inspire, and entertain.
You’re a great fit if you:
- 6+ years of experience in content marketing, with a strong emphasis on event content (virtual and in-person).
- Experience in cybersecurity
- Are an exceptional writer and editor, skilled at crafting compelling content across formats — particularly presentations — for diverse audiences.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including product marketing, customer marketing, partner marketing, and sales.
- Excel at project management, with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and meet deadlines with ease.
- Think strategically — connecting content to business goals and the buyer journey.
- Have a creative mindset and a passion for storytelling, brand building, and audience-first experiences.
- Are resourceful, adaptable, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Welcome feedback and believe in continuous improvement through collaboration.
- Have an intuitive sense of when content isn’t quite right — and the skills to refine it quickly and effectively.
- Well versed in working with executive leadership to craft presentations and social outreach
- Experience with social media for events
- Experience with Asana and Adobe Experience Manager is a plus
- Experience with crafting and producing video and podcast content is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
