In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to key initiatives by leading the strategic creation and delivery of content across various digital touchpoints. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to infuse every product with its core value, acting as a crucial advocate for the client’s voice. Your work will directly enhance user understanding, drive engagement, and ensure compliance, ultimately contributing to the success and reputation of a leading digital platform.

**What You’ll Do:**
* **Content Strategy & Leadership:**
* Develop and implement content strategies that effectively address client needs for information and understanding within digital products.
* Facilitate engaging collaborative design activities, ideation sessions, and cross-functional work.
* Clearly articulate the rationale behind content strategies and provide expert design advice to product team members.
* Guide the broader design team on established content design standards, tools, channels, and processes.
* Champion client needs and interests, ensuring content’s role is integrated thoughtfully into overall product design.
* **Content Creation & Craft:**
* Produce client-focused textual content, including labels, explanatory text, hidden/alternative text, metadata, and support content, for both internal digital products and external go-to-market initiatives.
* Ensure all content aligns with established design principles and product strategies.
* Collaborate with peers to develop and refine non-textual content such as iconography, information graphics, imagery, and data.
* Apply Inclusive Design principles rigorously in all content design and creation efforts.
* Partner with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure all digital communications meet necessary standards.
* Manage the comprehensive documentation and sharing of content throughout its entire lifecycle.
* **Research & Optimization:**
* Work closely with design researchers to define critical questions for research and testing activities.
* Initiate and execute tests for the effectiveness of specific content strategies and implementations in partnership with testing and design leads.
* Conduct competitive research on content and messaging strategies, performing audits relevant to design or business objectives.
* Perform thorough content audits as needed to ensure quality and consistency.
**What You’ll Bring:**
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* A post-secondary education, ideally with a university degree or college diploma.
* At least 4 years of professional writing experience within a creative agency or an in-house creative team.
* Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen capacity for critical thinking.
* Proficiency in English.
* A compelling portfolio showcasing your copywriting and content design work.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Proficiency in French.
* A working knowledge of accessibility standards and practical methods for addressing them.
* An understanding of current design and technology trends.
